Consultant, Euro Safety and Health. 2001-Present. Provide contract occupational health and safety services to industrial clients. Recent projects include hand-arm and whole body vibration monitoring, airborne contaminant evaluations and indoor air quality investigations. Deliver British Occupational Hygiene Society short courses and asbestos management workshops with the University of Wolverhampton.

Senior Lecturer, University of Wolverhampton. 1998-Present. Duties include development of curriculum in occupational health and safety, preparation and delivery of lectures in occupational health and environmental management and advising of students. Provide training and advice regarding environmental and occupational health and safety for UK businesses. Recent projects include cost benefit analyses, environmental management system support and noise exposure evaluations.

Assistant Professor, Ohio University, School of Health Sciences Athens, Ohio 1995-1998. Instructed and advised students in a diverse curriculum of occupational and environmental health studies. Responsibilities also included serving as program head for environmental health and development and maintenance of web page for the School of Health Sciences.

Consultant, Worksafe Iowa, The University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa 1992-1995. Reviewed reports generated for clients regarding industrial hygiene services provided in a variety of industrial settings. Performed Title V air emission report preparation for large industrial client.

Director of Occupational and Preventive Medicine, Branch Naval Hospital Sigonella, Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily 1989-1992. Managed and administered occupational and environmental health programs for Navy personnel in Sicily and Greece. Supervised medical and technical professionals performing program elements ranging from food service sanitation inspections to occupational health physicals. Provided related training and performed industrial hygiene surveys. Collateral responsibilities included those of safety manager.

Industrial Hygiene Division Head, Branch Medical Clinic Yuma, Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona 1986-1989. Served as sole source of industrial hygiene support for MCAS Yuma and Naval Air Facility El Centro California. Developed and implemented hazardous material handling and respirator use programs. Initiated measures that prevented harm from imminent hazards and saved our government thousands of dollars. Additional responsibilities as safety manager and drug and alcohol abuse program manager.

Industrial Hygienist, Tracor Jitco, Rockville, Maryland 1985-1986. Provided industrial hygiene services to contracted customers of this major environmental consulting firm. Evaluated industrial, residential and institutional locations for asbestos exposure potential. Trained and supervised technicians for asbestos abatement air monitoring.

Industrial Hygiene Branch Head, Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina 1984-1985. Supervised team of industrial hygienists and technicians providing industrial hygiene services for 40 thousand workers at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejuene and New River Air Station. Served as health and safety representative for hazardous waste sampling contract. Designed ventilation systems for air contaminant control.

Industrial Hygienist, Navy Environmental Health Center, Norfolk, Virginia 1982-1984. Performed industrial hygiene surveys at a wide variety of work areas, from ships to shipyards. Reviewed engineering designs for safety and health impact. Wrote and reviewed hazardous material information bulletins. Additionally served as energy conservation program manager.
